Acht na dTeangacha Oifigiúla 2003 -
Dréacht-scéim á hullmhú ag Comhairle Contae Átha Cliath Theas
Tá sé i gceist ag Comhairle Contae Átha Cliath Theas scéim a dhréachtadh de réir Alt 11 d'Acht na dTeangacha Oifigiúla 2003. Is é bun-chuspóir an Achta ná a chinntiú go mbeadh fáil níos mó ar sheirbhísí poiblí trí Ghaeilge agus go mbeadh siad ar chaighdeán níos airde.
Tá aighneachtaí maidir le hullmhú na dréacht-scéime á lorg anois againn, ó aon pháirtithe leasmhara. Ba chóir freisin, go hinmhianaithe, aighneachtaí a sheoladh isteach go leictreonach chuig: gaeilge@athcliaththeas.ie nó iad a sheoladh sa phost chuig: An tOifigeach Gaeilge, Comhairle Contae Átha Cliath Theas, Halla an Chontae, Tamhlacht, Baile Átha Cliath 24.
Tá Comhairle Contae Átha Cliath Theas faoi réir An Achta um Shaoráil Faisnéise. Tá sé ar intinn ag an gComhairle faisnéis a cur ar fáil faoi aighneachtaí ar iarratas.
Is é an dáta deireanach d'aighneachtaí a bheith faighte ná 5.00 i.r. ar an 21ú Deireadh Fómhair 2009.

Official Languages Act 2003 -
Preparation of a Draft Scheme by South Dublin County Council
South Dublin County Council proposes to draft a scheme in accordance with Section 11 of the Official Languages Act 2003. The primary objective of the Act is to ensure better availability and a higher standard of public services through Irish and wishes to invite representations in relation to the preparation of the draft scheme from any interested parties. Submissions should be forwarded electronically to gaeilge@athcliaththeas.ie. or posted to: An t-Oifigeach Gaeilge, Comhairle Contae Átha Cliath Theas, Halla an Chontae, Tamhlacht, Baile Átha Cliath 24.
South Dublin County Council is subject to the Freedom of Information Act. The Council proposes to make information in relation to submissions available on request.
The latest date for receipt of representations is 5.00pm on 21st October 2009.
