Temporary Closure of Main Street, Lucan and a section of Leixlip Road

South Dublin County Council has made an order to temporarily close Main Street, Lucan and a section of Leixlip Roadon Sunday 27th September 2009 from 10.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. to facilitate the Lucan Festival.

Alternative Route to Strawberry Beds and Clonsilla Eastbound 1.

Via Lucan Bypass N4 eastbound, Ballyowen interchange off Ramp (Woodies), Outer Ring Road R136, Old Lucan Road, R835, The Old Hill, Lucan, Lower Road R121.

Alternative Route Westbound from City 2.

Via Lucan Road N4, Ballyowen Interchange off Ramp (Woodies), Outer Ring Road, R136, Old Lucan Road, R835, The Old Hill, Lucan, Lower Road R121.

Alternative Route Northbound from Newcastle 3.

Via Adamstown Road, R120 northbound, Old Lucan Road R835 eastbound, The Old Hill, Lucan, Lower Road R121.

HGV Traffic to use Alternative Route 1.

Detour signs will be erected.

Local Access will be maintained.
