Notes to editor

The RDS Student Art Awards boast an annual prize fund in excess of 20,000. Encompassing the Taylor Art Award which has been awarded since 1860, the Awards are the most prestigious art awards open to registered art students of all award-bearing courses in Ireland.

RUA RED, which opened in February 2009, is a multi-purpose arts venue developed by South Dublin County Council which aims to increase access to the arts for the people of south Dublin.
