Temporary Closure of Aylmer Road  

To facilitate essential works for the installation of a water main from Peamount to Saggart, South Dublin County Council propose to temporarily close Aylmer Road at a point approximately 1.3km from Newcastle Main Street (i.e. east of the entrance to Greenogue Business Park) on Thursday 15th November 2018 to Sunday 18th November 2018 or Thursday 22nd November 2018 to Sunday 25th November 2018 or Thursday 29th November 2018 to Sunday 2nd December 2018. 

Alternative Routes:-

From Newcastle Main Street, take the first right onto the R120 Peamount Road, then turn right onto the R134 Nangor Road and right onto the L2001 Baldonnel Road and Vice Versa. 

  • Local access will be maintained

  • Detour signs will be erected.

Any person interested may lodge an objection in writing to the Acting Senior Executive Officer, Land Use, Planning and Transportation, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 or by email to seoroads@sdublincoco.ie not later than 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday 30th November 2018.
