South Dublin County Council’s, Dublin's Outdoors is delighted to announce that Gaelforce Dublin are the winners of the Best Sporting Event Award 2018. The Event Industry Awards ceremony was held on Friday 20th July 2018 at Citywest Hotel, Dublin.

Gaelforce asks participants to dig deep in a test of mental and physical strength on a course of running, cycling and kayaking over either 49km or 29km. The breakdown is a short run of 10-15km followed by a lengthy cycle on a Coillte forest gravel track, all the way to a reservoir where tandem kayaks will be waiting, before a final run to the finish line.
