Local Enterprise Office South Dublin Supports Job Creation for more Start-Up and Expanding Businesses with Latest Grant Approvals.
The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) South Dublin approved €119,000 in grant funding for 5 local businesses, creating 11.5 full time equivalent, new jobs, at its most recent Evaluation & Approvals Committee meeting on 7th February 2017.
Colm Ward. Head of Enterprise in South Dublin County Council explains:
“The 5 projects approved for funding this month include Priming Grants to help new four start up businesses and a Business Expansion Grant to assist an existing business looking to expand. These grant approvals for local businesses have the potential to help create up to 57 jobs in Rathfarnham, Tallaght & Templeogue within three years.
“The sectors supported with these approvals include innovative IT projects and manufacturing, with export potential a key feature of the projects. These small enterprises are currently each employing less than 10 staff but have ambitious plans to continue their growth trajectory and LEO South Dublin will help them on their way.”
