PUBLIC CONSULTATION FOR DRAFT

SPEED LIMIT BYE-LAWS 2016 FOR THE

ADMINISTRATIVE AREA OF SOUTH

DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL

Further to the notice given on 27th September 2016,

South Dublin County Council seeks the views of the

public on the proposed reduction of speed limits in

residential areas from 50km/h to 30 km/h and on

the review generally of current speed limits on roads

in the County.

Draft bye-laws and maps are available for inspection

at the Council’s Customer Care Area, in all libraries in

the County, speedlimits.ie and on the Council’s Public

Consultation Portal http://consult.sdublincoco.ie.

Objections or submissions should be made online at

http://consult.sdublincoco.ie or in writing to Laura

Leonard, Senior Executive Officer, Land Use Planning

and Transportation Department, South Dublin County

Council, County Hall, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

The latest date for receipt of objections or

submissions is 5.00pm on the 1st November 2016
