CHANGES TO “30 MINUTES FREE

PARKING” IN COUNCIL OWNED

PAY & DISPLAY PARKING SPACES IN

THE SEVEN VILLAGES OF SOUTH

DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL

South Dublin County Council have introduced

the following changes to the “30 Minutes Free

Parking” available in the villages of Tallaght,

Lucan, Clondalkin, Rathfarnham, Rathcoole,

Templeogue and Palmerstown.

The changes introduced are as follows:

If a patron is going to be 30 minutes or less, they

MUST visit the Pay & Display Machine and press

the Green Button to obtain a ticket which must

be displayed.

If the patron is going to be more than 30 minutes,

they must pay at the machine and an additional

30 Minutes will be added to the expiry time of

their ticket.

ALL cars parked in Council owned spaces will

now be required to display either a valid ticket,

a parking permit, or a disabled parking permit.

It is the responsibility of the driver to have their

ticket/permit clearly displayed and visible to the

Parking Warden.

30 Minutes Free can only be availed of once a

day by motorists and this will be enforced by

Parking Wardens.
