New recruits build careers at South Dublin County Council
South Dublin County Council is delighted to announce that 15 new employees have recently started their careers in the Local Authority sector which will see them maintaining and improving homes, parks, and the public spaces across South Dublin County.
South Dublin County Council has recruited the talented 15 out of over 500 applicants for the position of General Operative and Bricklayer. The new employees took up duty on Thursday 11th of February and have undergone initial training and induction for their new roles.
Chief Executive Daniel McLoughlin stated “We welcome these dedicated and talented people as they take up their new careers in the public service. These staff have been recruited as part of South Dublin County Council’s ongoing commitment to maintaining key front line services.”
The return to recruitment of frontline staff is a key priority of South Dublin County Council and has been ongoing since the lifting of the moratorium on recruitment and promotion in the public service in 2015.
