South Dublin County Council congratulates Ballyboden St. Endas
The Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Cllr. Sarah Holland would like to congratulate Ballyboden St. Endas GAA on their fantastic achievement on winning the Dublin Senior Men’s Football Final in Parnell Park yesterday, defeating reigning champions St. Vincents to take the title for the 3rd time in the club’s history.
Mayor of South Dublin, Cllr. Sarah Holland expressed her warm wishes to the club:
“Ballyboden St. Endas has done a fantastic job in winning this for the first time in 6 years. They have made the entire community very proud, including my little daughter who is a member. Commiserations to St Vincents, who played a great game too. It’s onwards and upwards now for the new county champions!”
South Dublin County Council would like to wish the team and their supporters the very best of luck representing the area and the county in the Leinster club championship next Sunday against St. Patricks GAA of Louth.
The Council would also like to congratulate St. Judes GAA on reaching the Men’s Senior Hurling Final on Saturday in Parnell Park, where they unfortunately lost out on this occasion to Cuala.
These performances are evidence of the strength of the GAA in our community and South Dublin County Council as a venue partner with the clubs is delighted to be able to play a small part in assisting them to achieve their success.
