Marriage Equality – Fundraiser

Thursday 11th December 2014

On Thursday 11th December Mayor Fintan Warfield presented Andrew Hyland from Marriage Equality with a cheque from the proceeds of the Gloria Concert that South County Council hosted as part of Social Inclusion Week 2014 in the Civic Theatre, Tallaght on Sunday 23rd November 2014. The event attracted over 250 people. It was a great opportunity to raise awareness about Marriage Equality and the upcoming referendum in 2014 and to encourage as many people as possible to register to vote and support the “Yes” campaign.
