South Dublin County Council extends opening hours to facilitate the payment of the Household Charge

 

Council Offices open on Saturday 31st March 2012.

 

The deadline to pay your Household Charge and to avoid penalties is fast approaching. South Dublin County Council is appealing to all residential property owners to support their local authority by paying their €100 household charge before the end of March. This contribution will go towards funding essential local services throughout 2012.

 

Household Charge Registration forms are available in the Council Offices and South Dublin County Council is accepting payment at:

 

South Dublin County Council, Head Quarters, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24

South Dublin County Council, Civic Offices, Clondalkin, Dublin 22

 

Opening Hours- 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday (Tallaght)

                      9.00 a.m. to 3.30p.m. Friday (Tallaght)

                      9.00a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday (Clondalkin)                   

 

There will be additional opening hours as follows:

 

Both offices will be open from 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. (open throughout lunch) on Saturday 31st March 2012 to facilitate payment.

 

This money is critical to fund essential local services like public parks; libraries; open spaces and leisure amenities; planning and development; fire and emergency services; maintenance and cleaning of streets and street lighting – all facilities that benefit everyone in the community.

 

Alternatively you can pay the Household Charge online by Credit/Debit Card at www.householdcharge.ie before the 31st March and avoid penaltie
