Temporary Closure of the Naas Road (N7) between Newlands Cross and Baldonnell

The National Roads Authority is currently undertaking a project to improve the overhead signage on the Naas Road (N7) between Newlands Cross and Baldonnell. As these works required the installation of gantry signs South Dublin County Council proposes to temporarily close sections of the Naas Road (N7) from Monday the 21st November 2011 to Friday 25th November 2011 each night between the hours of 22.00 to 06.00.

Alternative routes

(1) Newlands Cross – Kingswood Interchange (Junction 2) – Belgard Road (R113), Tallaght By-Pass (N81) , Blessington Road (N81), Cheeverstown Road (R136) to Kingswood Interchange

(2) Kingswood Interchange (Junction 2) – Citywest Interchange – Cheeverstown Road (R136), Blessington Road (N81), Citywest Road (N82), Citywest Interchange

(3) Baldonnell – Kingswood Interchange (Junction 2) – Barney’s Lane, Baldonnell Road, Grange Castle Road (R136) , Kingswood Interchange

Diversion signs will be erected.

Local access will be maintained at all times

Any person interested may lodge an objection with the Senior Executive Officer, Roads Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 not later than 5.00 p.m. on Thursday 3rd November 2011.
