Temporary Closure of Main Street, Lucan and a section of Leixlip Road

To facilitate the Lucan Festival, South Dublin County Council proposes to temporarily close Main Street, Lucan and a section of Leixlip Road on Sunday, 25th September, 2011 from 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.

Detour signs will be erected.

Local Access will be maintained.

Alternative Route to Strawberry Beds and Clonsilla Eastbound 1.

Via Lucan Bypass N4 eastbound, Ballyowen interchange off Ramp (Woodies), Outer Ring Road R136, Old Lucan Road, R835, The Old Hill, Lucan, Lower Road R121.

Alternative Route Westbound from City 2.

Via Lucan Road N4, Ballyowen Interchange off Ramp (Woodies), Outer Ring Road, R136, Old Lucan Road, R835, The Old Hill, Lucan, Lower Road R121.

Alternative Route Northbound from Newcastle 3.

Via Adamstown Road, R120 northbound, Old Lucan Road R835 eastbound, The Old Hill, Lucan, Lower Road R121.

HGV Traffic to use Alternative Route 1.

Any person interested may lodge an objection with the Senior Executive Officer, Roads Department, South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24 not later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 12th September, 2011.
