- Marching Bands Association, Final competition of the season

- Run by 2 local bands - Tallaght Youth Band & Tallaght Festival Band in association with South Dublin County    Council

- Marching Bands from all over the country –Tallaght, Athlone, Arklow, Clondalkin, Clonmel.                    

- Price: ONLY €5 per adult and kids go FREE (must be accompanied by an adult)

Tallaght will host this year 's All Ireland Marching Band Finals Competition in Tallaght Stadium.

There have been bands in Tallaght for over 3 decades now and they have played a huge part in the community.

This is the second year the local bands will work together in organising this event.

The prestigious Tallaght Stadium will be filled with musicians and dancers from all over the country. There will be bands from Tallaght, Clondalkin, Arklow, Clonmel, and Athlone to name just a few. This day will also provide the local people of Tallaght, who are not necessarily interested in soccer, with an opportunity to enjoy the amazing facilities in Tallaght Stadium.

With fantastic support from Willie Shiels and South Dublin County Council we hope to make this an annual fun filled event that will grow each year for all the community to enjoy. As this is an international competition, we hope to invite bands from all over Europe over the next few years and this will not only make the day even better but will also be a huge boost for tourism and business in the area.

Beat 24 will be a fun filled evening for all the family to enjoy. The gates will be open from 4.30pm with the competition itself starting at 5pm. It will be non-stop entertainment under the flood lights! There will be plenty of food available on the evening  so you wont have to leave the Stadium!!

What can local people coming along expect on the day??? Well each band will put on a display of their show; it could be anything from Moulin Rouge to Les Miserable to U2!!! You will just have to wait and see on the day!

The entry fee is only €5 per adult and kids are FREE but must be accompanied by an adult, so why not come along and enjoy the show!!
