SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC CONSULTATION FOR PROPOSED FORTUNESTOWN LOCAL AREA PLAN
Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended)
Consultation under Section 20 (1) of the (Planning & Development) Act 2000 (as amended).

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 20 (1) of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended) that South Dublin County Council, being the Planning Authority for the
County has prepared a proposed Local Area Plan for the Fortunestown area.

An Environmental Report has been prepared as part of a Strategic Environmental Assessment of the proposed Local Area Plan. The proposed Local Area Plan has undergone Appropriate Assessment Screening under the Habitats Directive (92/43/EEC).

Information
The public consultation will take place from Thursday 25th August 2011 to 4.00p.m on Thursday 6th October 2011 inclusive. The proposed Local Area Plan and Environmental Report can be viewed on the Council’s website at www.southdublin.ie. and can also be viewed at County Library and County Hall, Tallaght, and at the Civic Offices, Clondalkin, during normal opening hours [excluding public holidays]. Council staff will be available to answer queries at the Citywest Shopping Centre at the following times:

Monday 29th August 2011 4.00p.m. - 7.00p.m.
Thursday 1st September 2011 1.00p.m. - 4.00p.m.
Monday 12th September 2011 4.00p.m. - 7.00p.m.
Thursday 15th September 2011 1.00p.m. - 4.00p.m.

Council staff will also be available to answer general queries on the proposed Local Area Plan every Wednesday afternoon between 2.00p.m. - 4.00p.m. at County Hall, Tallaght, during the public consultation. Submissions
Submissions and observations on the proposed Local Area Plan and the Environmental Report can be made in writing only to the addresses below and only from Thursday 25th August 2011 to 4.00p.m. on Thursday 6th October 2011. Only submissions received by 4.00p.m. Thursday 6th October 2011 and addressed as set out below will be considered. Submissions cannot be accepted in any other format or to any other e-mail or postal address. Submissions and observations should state name, address, and where relevant, the body represented.
