South Dublin County Council has been shortlisted for 7 awards in the eight annual Excellence in Local Government Awards which will take place in November. This year a record number of applications were received, the judging panel were very impressed with the high calibre of the entries and competition on the short list was extremely tough. The following projects were shortlisted
- Best Library Service- South Dublin Libraries
- Excellence in Customer Service- Camac Caravan Park
- Arts Application- Tallaght Young Film Makers
- Sports Development – South Dublin Gladiators
- Smarter Travel- Adamstown (STA) Personalised Travel Planning
- Joint Local Authority Initiative- Dublin Mountains Way
- Innovation in Technology -: SEA Monitoring System
