They will be joined by Camara in addressing the mid-morning session entitled "Perspectives on the role of non-traditional players in Education". While Google are anticipated to speak about the use of Google Apps in Education it is not as obvious what Microsoft's vision for education is.
The early morning session focuses on the Connect School Project which has seen St Aidan's Community School in Brookfield, Tallaght become the only one-to-one computing school in the state over the course of the past 5 years. The Evaluation of this project has shown significant improvements in school attendance, participation in class and progression to 3rd level over the lifetime of the project.
