Photo Competition and Podge Kelly event at Tallaght Library
South Dublin Libraries have announced details of their annual digital photographic competition – I Love South Dublin County. We are looking for your best photos which capture the spirit of living in, working in or visiting the County. Up to three photos can be emailed to sdc@ireland.com along with your contact details, title of the photo and where it was taken. Closing date for entries is 31st October. First prize in both the Adult and Under 18s categories is a HP 210 Notebook computer.
Once again, renowned photographer Podge Kelly has come on board to help out. Tallaght Library will be hosting a special photo Walk and Talk with Podge on Saturday 16th October from 1pm to 4pm. Participants will be given a talk on photo techniques at the library before heading out into the locality to take some shots under the guidance of Podge. Then it’s back to the library for a summery of the day.
