Unauthorised bonfires are illegal

And Dangerous

Bonfires Damage Your Community Facilities

Local communities are urged to keep their area free from any dumping or debris that could be used in bonfires. Council staff will be removing any material from open spaces prior to Halloween. Please co-operate with them. Reports of illegal dumping/bonfire material on Saturday 3lst October 09 should be made to the Council’s emergency after-hours no. 4574907 or 4138500

Make sure waste from your house is not used to damage your community facilities. There is a fine of €3,000 for handing over your waste to unauthorised collectors

Halloween cost the county over €600,000 in 2008 – Don’t let us waste more money this year to keep the county looking the same as it did the day before

Keep Your Children Safe

Protect Your Community Faclities

You can still enjoy Halloween - On Saturday 31st October 2009 Council staff in partnership with local communities, Gardai, Civil Defence and Fire Brigade Service have organised two official bonfires at

Neilstown, North Clondalkin commencing at 6.00pm and ending at 8.00pm

A fun-filled evening is promised for all members of the community with a particular focus on children’s themes and making sure everyone is safe.
