“Simply Brilliant Ideas” – Seminar at the County Library Tallaght as part of Innovation Dublin celebration.
South Dublin County Libraries, as part of its participation in the Innovation Dublin celebration, presents a seminar on Saturday 17th October entitled “Simply Brilliant Ideas”.
“Simply Brilliant Ideas” is an opportunity to showcase, encourage and inspire innovative and imaginative thinking, particularly welcome in these recessionary times. Speakers from a range of sectors including Sport, Technology, Business and the Arts will demonstrate how a spark of an idea can become reality using vision, ingenuity and resourcefulness.
Speakers include Nickey Brennan, former president of the GAA, Carol Lynch from Debt Management Mediation Ltd, Chris Burton from Vodafone and Lars Jerkland from Google Cloud. Author Preethi Nair is travelling from the UK to talk about how she got her first novel published and a signed a three-book deal with HarperCollins – having acted as her own agent under the alias of Pru Menon! The seminar will be opened at 12noon by Mayor Mick Duff, South Dublin County Council.
