Tallaght Festival Band will travel to Kerkrade in Holland on 16th July to take part in the 16th World Music Contest www.wmc.nl . This event is held every 4 years (i.e. the Olympics of music). A delegation from each band is invited to attend a reception on Sunday 19th July in the Lord Mayor's residence in Kerkrade.

The Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Mick Duff presents a gift to members of the Tallaght Festival Band at a reception in County Hall, Tallaght to be presented to the Lord Mayor of Kerkrade in Holland.
